If you're experience issues using your mikme pocket, mikme silver or mikme gold such as:

  • the buttons are no longer reacting,
  • the LEDs on your device are behaving strangely,
  • the microphone is not charging,
  • or any other issues,

you may manually reset your mikme with a simple hardware reset.

Step 1 – Press and hold the power and Bluetooth buttons

For mikme gold & silver

Press and hold the power and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously on the rear side of the mikme gold or silver (the two buttons at the left side of the USB plug) for more than 15 seconds.

Wait until the LED on the top of the device turns OFF. The mikme gold or silver will restart again automatically (top LED lights up in white).


If you're in recording mode and the mikme has gotten stuck i.e. you cannot stop the recording, this reset works for this purpose as well.

For mikme pocket

Press and hold the power and Bluetooth buttons simultaneously on bottom side of the mikme pocket (the two buttons at the left side of the USB plug) for more than 15 seconds.

Wait until the LED on the top of the device turns OFF. The mikme pocket will restart again automatically (top LED lights up in white).


If you're in recording mode and the mikme has gotten stuck i.e. you cannot stop the recording, this reset works for this purpose as well.

Step 2 – mikme will restart automatically

After completing step 1, and the mikme has automatically restarted, your issue should be resolved.


Sometimes the mikme will not restart automatically. If this is the case please switch on the mikme manually by pressing the power button for approximately 1 second.
